Welcome to the homepage of Mountain Stage.

Hi folks, nice that you to drop by. For all people who are here for the first time, Zenzi and I (the two guys in the banner above) have played a crucial part in the picturization of Mountain Stage. Since the shooting of the film proved to be so successful, we were asked to take over the editorial of this hommepage. Well, why not?

There are a lot of inquiries who we actually are and why our names sound so strange. So at this point it might be a good idea to introduce ourselves:

Sepp So, I'm Sepp. I grew up in a tiny and widely unknown village at the foot of the alps. Since generations my family make it's living as mountain farmers. The seasonal movement of the sheep and cows from lowland pastures to our little, romantic but widely unknown alp became manifest in our names. As soon as the day broke you could hear the call: "Wake up you sleepy heads, the cattle have to be led to the alp!". Thereupon everyone muttered: "What, do I have to go up again?" or in our Bavarian dialect "Wos, muas I scho wiada aufi?" or (we were in a hurry after all) "Muas I aufi?". I'm afraid this hard to translate, like Bavarian in general. With the years the compulsory exercise developed to voluntary activity, however with a bike instead of cows ...

Zenzi Well, then Zenzi came into play. Soon she took delight in my passion. It was always the same, as soon as I saddled the bicycle she became agitated and took me to task: "Hey, and me? Do you think I stick around? No, I don't stay here!". This is the rough translation of the original Bavarian outburst: "Jo und I, glaubst I bleib do? Naa, I bleib net do!".  Got it?

Back to our homepage. There is a little Gallerie with cut scenes and impressions of the shooting. If you have comments you might use our Guestbook. On the page History you'll find further information about the story behind Mountain Stage. Last but not least you can watch the video here.

Have fun and best greetings

Sepp Muasiaufi and Zenzi Bleibnetdo
